Shark Tooth Axe new magic weapon for Dungeons and Dragons

This magic battleaxe for Dungeons & Dragons is edged with shark teeth that shred flesh and drive the axe wielder into a blood frenzy.


Shark Tooth Axe

Weapon (battleaxe), very rare (requires attunement)

Damage: 1d8+2 slashing

Weight: 4 lbs.

Properties: Versatile (1d10+2)

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic axe.

Shredding Teeth. The axe edge is lined with serrated shark teeth. On a hit, the target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. If it fails, the creature begins to bleed uncontrollably. The creature has disadvantage on Constitution checks and Constitution saving throws until it regains hit points. Any shark teeth that are broken off grow back the next day.

Shark Frenzy. For 1 minute, you are frenzied by the smell of blood. You have advantage on melee attack rolls against any creature with blood that doesn’t have all its hit points. This feature can be used once per day.

Proficiency with a battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Deep Blue Sky

A Dungeons & Dragons adventure for Levels 10 – 14

A valuable book of magic has been stolen by the Archmage Kaminamia and taken to her tower by the sea. You are hired to recover the book and return it to the library.

As you near the tower, a storm rolls in from the ocean. Sky Sharks patrol the sky around Kaminamia’s tower, swooping down through the rain for surprise attacks. The inside of the conjurer’s tower is no less dangerous.

Kaminamia is guarded by a devoted Cloud Giant named Cirrus. He wields a deadly Shark Tooth Axe, protecting his mistress while she tries to summon an eldritch horror. Replace the cloud giant’s Morningstar attacks with Shark Tooth Axe attacks.

Shark Tooth Axe. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (3d8 + 10) slashing damage. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. If it fails, the creature begins to bleed uncontrollably. The creature has disadvantage on Constitution checks and Constitution saving throws until it regains hit points.

If you recover the book, you are awarded 1,000 GP and may keep the Shark Tooth Axe and any other treasure found in the tower.
