Potion of Burning Blood – new DnD potion

Potion of Burning Blood

This new magic potion for Dungeons & Dragons makes your character’s blood dangerous to anyone who dares attack.

Potion of Burning Blood

Potion, uncommon

When you drink this potion, your blood becomes dangerous to any creature but you for 1 hour. During this time, any creature within 5 feet of you when you take piercing, slashing, or acid damage must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Some dangerous monsters in D&D, such as the venom troll and remorhaz, have the ability to deal damage to any nearby creature when it takes damage. This trait discourages melee attacks and can even destroy low level attacking monsters like goblins and kobolds.

Your Dungeons and Dragons player character can now have the same ability with the Potion of Burning Blood. Your blood becomes liquid napalm, igniting when it leaves your body. Anything that does piercing, slashing, or acid damage against you could be burned by the blood they shed.

This potion is a great way to buff the party’s barbarian or whoever is filling the role of the group’s tank. Every time they take damage from a melee attack, the enemies surrounding them take damage as well.

However, it’s important to note that the burning blood deals damage to any creature within five feet. This includes allies. Therefore, it’s a good idea to make sure that whoever takes the potion will be close to the enemy and not their friends when things get ugly.
