This new magic weapon for Dungeons & Dragons can fire three types of arrows, each with a dark power to push, bind, or frighten your enemies.
Weapon (longbow), very rare (requires attunement)
Wielded by erinyes and other elite warriors of the nine hells, the infernal longbow has a dark bowstring that forms instantly to notch an arrow.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
You can use the bow to create an arrow that crackles with dark energy. Before making your attack roll, choose which power you want the arrow to possess.
Hellish Blast. A creature hit by this arrow takes an additional 2d6 fire damage and must succeed a DC15 Constitution saving throw or be pushed back 5 feet and knocked prone.
Dark Tendrils. A creature hit by this arrow takes an additional 2d6 necrotic damage and must succeed a DC15 Dexterity saving throw or be restrained until the start of your next turn.
Anguished Scream. A creature hit by this arrow takes an additional 2d6 psychic damage and must succeed a DC15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the start of your next turn.
This ability can be used once per round and can be used a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus. The bow recharges after you take a long rest.
Proficiency with a longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
