Wings of the Deva – new DnD magic item

Wings of the Deva

This new wondrous item gives your Dungeons & Dragons character the celestial powers of flight and dazzling radiance.

Wings of the Deva

Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement)

This pair of white feathered wings were harvested from a slain deva. To attune to this item, you must attach it to your upper back by holding it there throughout the attunement process.

Flight. While the wings are attached, you have a flying speed that is double your walking speed. You can use the wings to fly a number of hours equal to your combined Strength and Constitution bonuses. If you are flying when the duration expires, you descend at a rate of 30 feet per round until you land. The wings can be used to fly again after a long rest.

Divine Form. While the wings are attached, you can use your action to take on a shining, divine form for 1 round.  Each creature of your choice within 10 feet must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or take 3d6 radiant damage. The wings can’t be used this way again until the next dawn.

The wings can’t be removed against your will but fall off if your attunement ends.
