Vest of Kev’laar

An artificer named Alistair Kev’laar lived in the kingdom of Vaul. Alistair was known throughout the kingdom for his incredible intelligence and his expertise in the magical arts. He spent most of his days locked away in his workshop, experimenting with various spells and incantations.

One day, after an attempted assassination, Queen Lassita came to Alistair with a commission: a magic vest that would protect the wearer from harm. The artificer spent weeks pouring over his books, searching for the perfect combination of spells and materials to make the queen’s request a reality.

Finally, after much hard work and dedication, Alistair succeeded in creating the magic vest. It was a beautiful piece of clothing, made from the finest materials and adorned with intricate designs and symbols.

Lassita was amazed when Alistair demonstrated the magic vest’s powers. He placed the vest on a volunteer and had another person strike him with a sword. To everyone’s amazement, the vest absorbed the blow, leaving the volunteer completely unharmed.

Word of the magic vest quickly spread throughout the land, and soon Alistair was flooded with orders from nobles all over the kingdom. He worked tirelessly to keep up with demand, but no matter how hard he tried, he could never seem to make enough vests to satisfy the demand.

Alistair Kev’laar died to protect the secret of his vests, and no more have been made since his passing.
