Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 9 (2d8) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
Acid Spray (Recharge 6). The giant ant queen spits acid in a line that is 30 feet long and 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 10 (3d6) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
A nest of giant ants contains one mature Giant Ant Queen that is surrounded by 12 (4d6) Giant Ants at all times. The queen is the mother of all the ants in her colony. If her colony is destroyed, a giant ant queen will fly hundreds of miles to start a new nest. If the queen is destroyed, her colony can create a new queen by feeding royal jelly to a giant ant hatchling.
