Day of the Hunter
A short Dungeons & Dragons adventure for Levels 6-10
Horatio Plevin is a wealthy Noble merchant whose son is in deep trouble. Lothario Plevin accidentally killed a Merfolk prince in a boating accident and fled to shore, where the dead prince’s vengeful family could not reach him.
Unable to follow young Lothario on land, the merfolk hired a Bounty Hunter named Zoranth Kreel to bring him to justice. Namely, a watery grave. The Plevin family hires you to protect Lothario from the bounty hunter, offering 500 gp to each member of your party.
As a powerful storm blows in from the ocean, you must defend yourselves and the Plevins from Kreel and a band of Merfolk hunters who can breathe air and have humanoid legs for up to an hour. If you defeat Zoranth Kreel, you gain his Hunter’s Crossbow and other treasure in addition to the Plevin family’s gold.
