Dagger of Silence – new DnD magic item

Dagger of Silence

Background

The Deep Shadows are an assassins guild that operates in the Underdark communities near the drow city Y’leylon. Its highest level members earn a dagger of silence to aid in silent assassinations.

When activated, the daggers are especially effective against spellcasters whose spells have  verbal components or creatures that deal thunder damage. The Deep Shadows also find the silence feature useful for hiding the death screams of their targets.

If a dagger of silence falls into the hands of someone not affiliated with the guild, the Deep Shadows will kill as many people as it takes to get it back.
