Transform your D&D character into a giant snake with this new magic potion for Dungeons & Dragons.
Snake Oil
Potion, rare
When you drink this potion, you polymorph into a Giant Constrictor Snake (Basic Rules, pg. 131) for 10 minutes or until you drop to 0 hit points. You also gain the effect of a freedom of movement spell for the duration.
The dark liquid appears to have a small living snake swimming in it. This snake slides down the drinker’s throat to activate the transformation.
This magic potion is a glowing green liquid with a thick, syrupy consistency. When consumed, the oil causes the drinker’s body to undergo a dramatic transformation. The person’s skin begins to stretch and elongate as they grow taller and thinner, taking on the shape and appearance of a giant constrictor snake like a python or boa.
The snake is slippery, and their movement is unaffected by difficult terrain. Spells and other magical effects can neither reduce the target’s speed nor cause the target to be paralyzed or restrained.
Although the polymorph only lasts for 10 minutes, that is plenty of time for a D&D character to slip between the bars of a vault or escape from a trap.
