This new magic item for Dungeons & Dragons is a set of plate armor made for stealthy missions. Its powers increase as your character gains levels.
Plate Armor of Stealth
Armor (plate), rare [Tier 2]
(requires attunement)
Armor Class: 19
Weight: 50 lbs.
The Knights of Kryloss were a group of elite warriors who served the merchant houses of Braedon. Their highly customized, enchanted armor allowed the knights to stealthily attack under the cover of darkness.
Stealthy. The armor does not impose disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and has no Strength requirement.
Camouflage. As a bonus action, you can activate the armor’s camouflage for 1 minute. Wisdom (Perception) checks made to see you have disadvantage, and you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide, as the armor’s color shifts to camouflage you. This feature can be used a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.
Very Rare [Tier 3] upgrade
When you achieve level 10 while attuned to the armor, you gain +1 to your Armor Class.
Silence. While you are wearing the armor, you can use an action to cast silence with the following changes: The 20-foot-radius sphere of silence is centered on you, and you can hear while inside the silence sphere but you can not produce sound, including the verbal component of a spell. This property can be used a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.
Shadow Step. While in dim light or darkness, you can teleport as a bonus action up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness. This property can be used a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.
Legendary [Tier 4] upgrade
When you achieve level 17 while attuned to the armor, you can add your Dexterity modifier to your Armor Class.
Spellcasting. The armor has 6 charges and regains 1d4 + 2 expended charges each day at midnight. You can use an action to expend 2 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it: blur (2 charges), invisibility (2 charges), or greater invisibility (4 charges).
