The Frying Dwarf

A short Dungeons & Dragons adventure for Levels 4-8

While traveling, you come across an old dwarf camped beside the road, stir frying a meal of vegetables and mushrooms in a flaming wok. Yoshi Yellowbeard is a monk from Kendu, a Veteran warrior turned cook who has taken a vow of non-violence as he travels across the continent.

A hungry Ettin has also been drawn to Yoshi’s camp by the smell of cooked food. The two-headed creature wants to take the food, but the two heads can’t agree on what should be added to Yoshi’s stir fry. They decide that it needs some kind of meat, and you are on the menu.

If you defeat the ettin, Yoshi serves you a delicious meal that restores 1d8 hit points and 1 level of exhaustion. He also gives you the Wok of Frying to help cook your own meals.
